El dormitorio terminado/ The finished bedroom

Hola a todos!

Seguimos en cuarentena y yo os digo deseando que estén sanos y salvos en casa y que este confinamiento no les sea tan pesado.

A mí como a muchos de Uds., este tiempo me ha servido para terminar trabajos pendientes.

We are still in quarantine here, I wish you are all safe and sound at home and that this confinement is not so difficult for you.

For me, as for many of you, this time has been helpful to finish pending tasks.

Les traigo el dormitorio que ya les había mostrado, pero terminado y con los accesorios decorativos que le dan los últimos toques y la personalidad que buscamos.

He colocado muchas de las minis que tenía acumuladas para este fin, de ferias y compras, así como también algunos regalos de compañeras y una o dos cositas hechas por mí.

Today I bring the bedroom which I had already shown you. It´s now finished with the decorative accessories that give the last touches and the personality I was looking for.

I have placed many of the minis that I had accumulated for this purpose, from fairs and purchases, as well as some gifts from colleagues and one or two little things made by me.

Por ejemplo estas lámparas, que llevan luz, aunque aun no he tomado fotos con ellas encendidas. Quería unas lámparas grandes, anticuadas y se me ocurrió hacerlas yo misma con unas fichas de ajedrez, forrarles la caperuza con la tela del sobrecama y añadir unos abalorios. No son magníficas, pero me gusta el resultado combinado con el entorno general.

For example these lamps, they light up, although I have not taken photos with the lights on yet. I wanted some big, old-fashioned lamps, so I had the idea to make them myself with some chess pieces using the bed cover fabric for the shades, and adding some beads. They are not magnificent, but I like the result combined with the surroundings.

En el tocador coloque un frasco decorativo de Birgit, la caja decorada con conchas marinas de Drora que antes estaba en la cocina de Rita, pero este me pareció el lugar perfecto para colocarla definitivamente; unos frascos de perfume, reloj de bolsillo y camafeo comprados y un set de maquillaje y labial hechos por mí.

On the dresser I put a decorative bottle made by Birgit, a box decorated with seashells by Drora, that was originally in Rita's kitchen, but this seemed the perfect spot to place it definitively; some perfume bottles, chain watch and cameo I bought and a makeup set and lipstick made by me.

Los cojines de crochet son de Lourdes, la caja del fondo es de Carmen (Pekevasión), y el libro en la parte inferior de la mesita de noche, Cumbres Borrascosas, de Teresa (Santiaga).

The crochet cushions are from Lourdes, the box at the back is from Carmen (Pekevasión), and the book at the bottom of the nightstand, Cumbres Borrascosas, by Teresa (Santiaga).

Aquí me doy cuenta que se ve la costura de los cojines. Lo bueno de las fotos es que te señala cosas que a simple vista no puedes ver. Ya les he dado una vuelta y asunto corregido!

Here I noticed that the seam of the cushions can be seen. The good thing about photos is that it points out things that at first glance you cannot see. I have already given them a turn and corrected the problem!

La papelería del escritorio fue un regalo de hace mucho tiempo de Sulay.

The stationery on the desk was a long-time ago gift from Sulay.

Hay algunos otros detalles decorativos que no estoy muy segura de quien son y prefiero omitir el nombre para no equivocarme pero si ves algo hecho por ti recuérdamelo por favor. Son regalos que aprecio mucho, gracias.

There are some other decorative details that I am not sure who made them so I prefer to omit the name to avoid a mistake but if you see something made by you please tell me. They are gifts that I appreciate very much, thank you.

Desde hace algunos días tenía unas ganas de unas camisas dobladas para Tulio, que he visto en Pinterest e Instagram y molan mucho; al principio iba a comprarlas, pero con las restricciones actuales y también porque he decidido controlar mis compras, no sabemos que nos depara el futuro próximo y es mejor ser austeros, pues eso, decidí hacerlas yo misma.

For a while I have wanted some folded shirts for Tulio. I have seen some on Pinterest and Instagram and they are very cool; I was going to buy them, but with the current restrictions and also because I have decided to control my purchases, we do not know what the next future holds for us and it is better to be austere, so I decided to make them myself.

Qué opinan? aquí en la foto hay un botón torcido, que cosa! ya lo he corregido y he colocado las camisas sobre la cama como si Tulio estuviese sacando la ropa para arreglarse y aun no decide cuál ponerse.

What do you think? In the photo there is a misplaced button, oopss! I have already corrected it and I placed the shirts on the bed as if Tulio is taking out the clothes to get ready and he has not yet decided which one to wear.

Les cuento que, modestia aparte, me encantan! me tomó unos 30 o 40 minutos hacer 4 de ellas y lo disfruté al máximo, creo que no quedaron mal.

Well, modesty aside, I love them! It took me about 30 or 40 minutes to do 4 of them and I enjoyed it a lot, I think they´re not too bad.

Y ahora muestro fotos del conjunto total. Seguramente añadiré algún otro detalle, pero por el momento ha quedado así.

Me encanta esta buhardilla pero no es fácil tomarle fotos al conjunto general sin que salgan otros elementos del entorno y si recortas la foto queda una foto muy estrecha que no me gusta, pero mientras me ingenio cómo hacer van así, es lo que hay.

And now I will show photos of the whole room. Surely I will add some other details, but for the moment that´s it. 

I love this attic but it is not easy to take photos of the whole room without showing other elements around and if I crop the photo it becomes very narrow which I do not like, but while I figure out how to do it, it is what it is.

Pero antes de continuar espero que todos estén bien, sanos y seguros en casa. Yo vuelvo a trabajar el lunes, he estado haciendo tele-trabajo pero siguiendo todas las medidas preventivas regreso a la oficina pues hay cosas que requieren mi atención. Lo agradezco por el cambio de escenario, eso sí  de la casa a la oficina y de la oficina a la casa, no hay que bajar la guardia.

But before continuing, I hope everyone is well, healthy and safe at home. I go back to work on Monday, I have been working from home but following all the preventive measures I will return to the office because there are things that require my attention. I thank for the change of scenery, but it will be only from home to office and from office to home, we must not let our guard down.

En estos días recibí un paquete que fue enviado antes de la cuarentena y fue una sorpresa muy agradable, un bálsamo en estos tiempos. Ved:

En el foro de Tus Miniaturas estábamos planeando hacer un sorteazo cuando la cuarentena se nos vino encima. El sorteo se ha pospuesto para cuando esto pase, pero yo seguí trabajando en mi aportación y esto es lo que he hecho:

In "Tus Miniaturas" forum we were planning to make a Big-draw game, "el Sorteazo", when the quarantine came upon us. The game has been postponed for when this is over, but I kept working on my contribution and this is what I have done:

Un pequeño lote de cositas hechas o decoradas por mí (excepto los pasteles). Las latas de legumbres son un experimento que tenía muchas ganas de probar, hice unas para la cocina de Carmen y decidí hacer unas más para incluirlas en mi lote del sorteazo.

A small lot of little things made or decorated by me (except the cakes). The tins are an experiment that I really wanted to try, I made some for Carmen's kitchen and decided to make some more to include them in my lot for the game.

Me quedo satisfecha, no son perfectas pero creo que han quedado graciosas.

I am satisfied, they are not perfect but I think they are cute.

Aquí en pleno proceso de producción/ Here in the production process.

Y ahora sigo con el tema de esta entrada, el comedor. Ya estaba terminado, pero me faltaba el frente, del cual debo decir me daba mucha pereza empapelar y poner molduras en todas esas pequeñas áreas y ángulos, pero sobra tiempo en estos días y dejando las excusas a un lado pude terminarlo.

And now I continue with the theme of this entry, the dining room. It was already finished, but I was missing the front. I must say I was not looking forward to wallpaper and put trimmings in all those small areas and angles, but there is plenty of time these days and leaving excuses aside I could finish it.

Faltan las cortinas y probablemente, no estoy segura, haga algo más en las ventanas, tengo algunas ideas que quiero probar, pero hasta que pueda conseguir ciertos materiales quedará así.

The curtains are missing and probably, I'm not sure, I will do something else on the windows, I have some ideas that I want to try, but until I can get certain materials it will stay like this.

La planta de la de la derecha es la última cinta que me queda de Carmen, era la más grande de todas y es súper bonita, solo le he cambiado la maceta y me encanta. Las cintas de Carmen son preciosas! Estoy muy contenta de haber dejado una para esta casa.

The plant on the right is the last spider plant I have left from Carmen, it was the largest of all and it is so beautiful, I have only changed the pot and I love it. Carmen's spider plants are gorgeous! I am so glad that I left one for this house.

Ahora solo faltaba decorar la estancia, los muebles van sin ningún cambio, tal como estaban me parecían perfectos para esta casa. Los adornos que verán a continuación los he ido coleccionado desde el año pasado, pensando en esta casa, de la feria de Pola de Siero, de Kensington y de otras compras online aquí y allá y algunos regalos. Os muestro:

Now all that remained was to decorate the room. The furniture goes without any changes, as they were they seemed perfect for this house. The decorations that you will see below have been collected since last year, thinking of this house, from Pola de Siero fair, Kensington and other online purchases here and there and some gifts. El espejo es del tocador de palacio, el cual separé de la pieza principal y pinté en dorado.

The mirror is from the palace dresser, which I separated from the main piece and painted in gold.

La vajilla verde es hecha por mí con imprimibles de la web sobre platos de cartón y acabados con barniz de uñas.

The green tableware is made by me with printables from the Web on cardboard plates and finished with nail varnish.
