No son muchos los avances que he hecho en la fachada, o sí, pero he bajado un poco la velocidad con la que venía trabajando. No sé si es pereza o pena por terminarla ja!
I have not made a lot of progress on the facade, or maybe I have, but I have slowed down a little bit. I don´t know if is laziness or maybe I feel sorry to finish it.
En todo caso, me he encontrado con fotos de mi primera casa, aquella que tuve en Inglaterra y que no me pude traer a España. Me he reído mucho viendo mis precarios inicios, os pido clemencia :)
Anyway, I have found photos of my very first house, the one I had in England and I could not bring with me to Spain. I have laughed a lot looking at my rudimentary beginning, please have mercy :)
Viendo esta parte del jardín, creo que no está mal, aunque se puede observar que las plantas y macetas no están a escala.
Looking at this part, I think is not so bad, although you can see that plants and plant pots are off scale.
Recuerdo que no sabía de foros, ni de otras miniaturistas. Era el año 2009, compraba mis cosas en ebay y mis pequeños rudimentos eran hechos con los materiales no a escala que encontraba en las tiendas de manualidades.
I remember that I knew nothing about forums or other miniaturists. It was 2009, I used to buy things on eBay and my small attempts were made with materials I bought in craft shops.

Podésis apreciar aquí que mi fascinación con el color no ha nacido ahora jaja, claro que si la memoria no me engaña, no era tan "roja" la casa, echémosle la culpa a la cámara y a la mala iluminación. En todo caso, todavía no me aventuraba a hacer mayor cosa, los cuadros del salón creo los hice yo, la verdad sea dicha eran unos mamarrachos.
You can see that my fascination with colour wasn't born today, ha. But if memory doesn't fail me, the house wasn't so "red", let´s blame the camera and the bad lighting. Anyway, I didn't make many things, I think I made the frames on the living room and that´s it. I have to say they were horrible.
Los papeles de las paredes tampoco son a escala, aunque está de más decirlo, se vé a leguas. No sé si existían en esa época tiendas online. Recuerdo que pasé horas en una tienda de scrapbooking escogiendo los papeles de mi casita.
The wallpaper was not on scale either, but it goes without saying it. I don´t know if there were online shops on those times. I remember that I spent hours in a scrapbook shop choosing the wallpaper for my house.
No hay muchos accesorios, y no recuerdo echarlo mucho en falta, yo era feliz con los pocos que tenía. ¡Que poco sabía en aquel entonces! Hoy veo la casa muy vacía, en esos días se me caía la baba contemplándola. En mi defensa diré que tenía poco tiempo libre disponible.
There were not many accessories but I didn't miss them. I was very happy with the little I had. I didn't know much!! Today I see the house and I think it looks empty but I was crazy about my house then. In my defence I would say that I had very little free time.
Mi mayor orgullo además del jardín era el cuarto infantil. Todos los adornos los conseguí en las tiendas de segunda mano que en Inglaterra son muy populares. Aun conservo una osita, las muñecas y una casita. Lástima que conservé poco más, recuerdo que el armario y las mesitas de noche eran muy monas y estaban pintados a mano.
My pride was the garden and the children´s room. I bought all the little accessories in charity shops which are every popular in England. I still have one bear, the dolls and a little house. It is a shame that I did not keep much more. I remember that the cupboard and the bedside tables were hand painted and very pretty.

Sin embargo, aunque puedo ver la gran diferencia entre ese entonces y ahora, igual creo que mi primera casita era adorable, ¿no? Lo importante al final es que la disfruté mucho.
Despite I can see the great difference between then and now, I think that my first house was adorable, isn't it? The important thing is that I enjoyed it very much.
Ahora quiero mostraros una maravilla que acabo de recibir. Un cuadro de Felicidad, Fesaba en el foro. Feli es una artista del px, ya tengo algunos cuadros suyos en mi casa de playa y son preciosos. Éste lo ofreció Feli en el intercambio continuo del foro y no dudé en quedármelo. Es el beso de Klimt, no os imagináis la maravilla, de quedarse boquiabierto.
Now, I want to show you a wonder I just received. A frame by Felicidad, Fesaba in the forum. Feli is an artist of crossed stitch. I have some of her frames on my beach house and they are beautiful. She offered this one on the continue swap in the forum and I did not hesitate a second to get it. It is The kiss by Klimt, you cannot imagine how wonderful it is, breathtaking.
Espectacular, ¿no? Spectacular isn't it?
