Ya había mencionado que quería hacerle una entrada a mi casa de la playa. Las compañeras del foro y las de Facebook la han visto antes, pero creo que merece la pena mostrarla en el blog pues es uno de los trabajos de los que más orgullosa me siento, los progresos en la fachada de mi casa bohemia van lentos y he prometido una entrada semanal al menos. Como ven razones tengo :).
I mentioned before that I wanted to post an entry about my beach house. Friends from the forum and from Facebook have seen it already but I think it´s worth an entry here in the blog as it is one of the works that I feel most proud of, I am making slow progress on the facade of my boho house and I have promised at least one entry a week, so I think there are enough reasons to do it :).
Esta casa tiene un significado especial, no tengo una casa en la playa jeje, pero crecí junto al Mar Caribe en mi bella Cartagena de Indias y hoy vivo junto al Mar Mediterráneo así que el mar me ha acompañado casi toda mi vida.
This house has a special meaning, I don´t have a beach house per se hehe, but I grew up by the Caribbean Sea in my beautiful city, Cartagena de Indias, and today I live by the Mediterranean Sea, so the sea has been there most of my life.
Igual que la mayoría de mis casas la soñé y planeé por un tiempo, más o menos 6 meses, el principal inconveniente que tuve fue que no encontraba una estructura que me pareciera adecuada, finalmente me decidí por este modelo pero añadiéndole una gran reforma en el exterior pues quería una gran terraza junto al mar.
As most of my houses I dreamt it and planned it for a while, for about 6 moths I think. The main difficulty was that I could not find the right model. In the end I decided to use this one but making a big change as I wanted a big terrace by the sea.

Quería darle un aire muy marinero para lo cual hice muchos detalles, tuneé muebles, tapicé etc, lo usual. Hay también detalles de otras compañeras y puesto que ya las he mencionado antes no lo haré específicamente pero hay cosas de Carmen, de Fesaba, Myriam67, Paperina, Siberia, Anna36, Sulay, espero no olvidarme de nadie.
I wanted to give it a theme that evokes the sea, that kind of vibe. With that in mind, I made many details, I customised furniture, etc. I also added miniatures made by friends but as I mentioned them before I won´t go into specifics but let´s say that there are things made by Carmen, Fesaba, Myriam67, Paperina, Siberia, Anna36, Sulay. I hope I am not forgetting anybody.
El exterior/ The exterior:
Como pueden ver, construí un baño y una ducha exteriores. Todavía tengo pendientes las puerta para el baño y la ducha, ja, algún día las haré.
As you can see, I built an external bathroom and shower, I need to make the doors for them, ha! I will make them one day.

No podía dejar de mostrar esta foto. Infortunadamente mi casa de la playa atrae a muchos visitantes. Estos un poco indeseados porque causan muchos daños. Como podéis apreciar, uno de los postes de la cerca de cuerdas está caído. Me la pasó reparando aquí y allá y buscando objetos "perdidos".
I needed to show you this photo, I could not resist it. Unfortunately, this beach house attracts many visitors, these ones a bit undesirable because of the damage they cause. You can see that one of the posts of the rope fence has fallen. I spend some of my time repairing here and there and searching for "missing" objects.
Por último/ At last:
Y para despedirme y reivindicarme un poco por mostrar algo ya conocido por algunas, les traigo las últimas novedades que han llegado desde las manos de mi marido. He de decir que cada vez se supera más con la arcilla polimérica, sus frutas y vegetales son fantásticos.
