Ahora quiero mostraros un ítem más de la cocina de Rebeca. Recordáis que os dije que había un "descuido" en esta foto:
Now, I want to show you another item of Rebecca´s kitchen. You remember I said that there was a "mistake" on this photo:
Pues había dos descuidos, el mío es el ornamento de la repisa del fondo, que solo aparece uno y son dos, y para todos vosotr@s el descuido fue la mesa sin tunear. Y es verdad, a esa mesa le hacía falta un cambio.
Well, there were two mistakes. Mine was that ornament above the shelf at the back, they are 2 and only one appears. But for most of you the mistake was the table. It is true, that table needed a change.
En realidad a la mesa en sí no le hice muchos cambios, solo la oscurecí un poco. Ésta es la mesa donde Rebeca prepara la mayoría de sus delicias, especialmente tartas, a las abuelas les encanta hacer tartas, no? Rebeca no es la excepción y en esta ocasión está preparando una rica tarta rellena de mermelada de kiwi. ¿Por qué kiwi? un poco raro ¿no? ja! pues decirles que yo hago una tarta de queso con mermelada de kiwi que me queda riquísima y eso que soy un desastre culinario.
I did not change the table much, I only made it darker. This is the table where Rebecca makes most of her delights, especially pies, grannies love to make pies, don´t they? Rebecca is no exception and on this occasion she is making a beautiful kiwi pie. Why kiwi? It is a bit strange, isn´t it? ha! well let me tell you that I make a delicious kiwi cheesecake and I am a terrible cook.
Pero bueno la razón por la que Rebeca está preparando una tarta de kiwi, es que mi adorado tormento, entre sus experimentos, hizo unos kiwis en fimo que me encantaron y hay que lucirlos por supuesto. Entonces, a hacer tarta de kiwi 😋
Well, the reason why Rebecca is making kiwi pie is that, my beloved torment, amongst his experiments, made some kiwis with fimo and I loved them! So I had to showcase them, of course. There you go, kiwi pie 😋
Tanto la mermelada, como los kiwis en todas sus variedades, el cuchillo y la tabla de cortar, las hizo mi marido, la harina y el azúcar los hice yo, buscando imágenes reales de productos españoles en la red. Espero os guste:
My husband made the jam, the kiwis in all their varieties, the knife and the cutting board. I made the flour and sugar packages using images from the Web. These are real Spanish brands. Do you like it?
Os pido perdón por quizás ser un poco cansona con el tema "mis gatos" pero os dejo un vídeo que muestra una de las razones por la que avanzo muy poco en mi nueva casa (por cierto, la música de fondo es de mi marido cantando y su banda "Lousiana" en un ensayo).
