Aquí estoy con otra habitación de mi casa contemporánea, la habitación de los niños, es quizás mi habitación favorita hasta ahora, la cual disfruté mucho haciéndola.

Para las estanterías y repisas me propuse hacer yo misma algunos libros y cuentos. Este de El Principito, es hecho con las plantillas de Ricardo (Ram) quien generosamente las ofrece en el foro a quien las quiera. Se las pedí y tuve acceso a muchas maravillas. He empezado por estas dos, no es difícil hacer los libros, solo hay que ser muy delicado al recortar las plantillas, pero poco más, están listas para recortar y armar.
For the shelves and bookshelves I decided to make some books and story books myself. This The Little Prince, is made with Ricardo´s (Ram) templates, he generously offers them in the forum to anyone who wants them. I asked for it and I had access to many wonders. I have started with these two, they´re not difficult to make, you just have to be very delicate when cutting the templates, but that´s it, they´re ready to cut and put together.
Y esta es la habitación. Recordarán que os dije que sería la habitación de dos niños, varones, Tomás y Henry, cuyas edades oscilan entre los 4 y 8 más o menos.
Mi idea era que fuese una habitación con mucho predominio del blanco como el resto de la casa, pero un poco diferente a la tradicional habitación infantil para niños. Otra vez, es más colorida de lo planeado al principio pero no me pude resistir los sobrecamas con motivo londinense y eso determinó el resto de la habitación.
My idea was of a room with predominance of white like the rest of the house, but a little different from the traditional children's room for boys. Once again, it is more colorful than originally planned but I could not resist the London bedspreads and that determined the rest of the room.
Las colchas las descubrí aquí en bee-inspirational, hace una ropa de cama preciosa, tiene muchos motivos, están muy bien hechas y los precios son inmejorables.
El motivo lo escogí además por varias razones. Hace algún tiempo quería hacer una habitación "londinense", tengo algunas curiosidades que he ido coleccionando de mis viajes y mi estadía allí (llaveros y esas cosas). Londres es quizás mi ciudad favorita, es la ciudad de mi marido, viví allí por 3 años y siempre la disfruto mucho cuando voy, no me cansa! Así que encontrar estas colchas fue la señal decisiva de que esta sería la oportunidad de hacer una habitación con dicho motivo.
The quilts I discovered here in bee-inspirational, they make beautiful bedding, have a lot of variety, are very well made and the prices are unbeatable.
The theme I chose for several reasons. Some time ago I wanted to make a "London" room, I have some curiosities that I have been collecting from my trips and stay there (key rings and those kind of things). London is perhaps my favorite city, it is my husband's city, I lived there for 3 years and I always enjoy it a lot when I go, I cannot get tired of it! So finding these quilts was the decisive sign that this would be the opportunity to make a room with that motive.

Las luces son guirnaldas de luz, también compradas en Wish, Joom o Alí express. Dan una luz maravillosa y son muy baratas.
The lights are light garlands, also bought in Wish, Joom or Ali express. They give a wonderful light and are very cheap.
Eso sí, ponerlas me costó lo suyo, mis dedos terminaron completamente cubiertos de superglue, pues quise instalarlos con el cable bien estirado y casi que entre la junta de la pared y el techo. Valió la pena, pues cuando no están encendidas no se notan.

Estoy muy ilusionada pues voy a visitar a mi hijo mayor y único varón quien vive en México. Serán 11 días de disfrutar de su compañía y recorrer Cancún, Playa del carmen, Tulum y Ciudad de México. Mola, no? Yo feliz y agradecida con la vida.
