Llega la Navidad

Hello everyone!

Me encanta la Navidad aunque donde vivo ahora la noto menos, no sé si será porque nuestras familias no están cerca o por alguna otra razón pero he de decir que en la blogosfera sí se nota la Navidad. Hace poco recibí una sorpresa maravillosa, así sin más, totalmente inesperada, llego a casa y me encuentro con un paquete enviado desde Alemania!! No me lo podía creer.

I love Christmas although where I live now I notice it less, I do not know why, maybe because our families don´t live close or for any other reason but I have to say that in the blogosphere Christmas is very present. 

Recently I received a wonderful surprise, just like that, totally unexpected, I came home and I found a package sent from Germany !! I couldn´t believe it.

¿Que hice para merecerlo? no lo sé, pero llegó desde Birgit y su maravilloso blog BiWuBaren on the Blog. Seguro lo conocéis y si no pasaros y divertiros con las maravillosas aventuras y ocurrencias de Fluby y Rosie, a mi me encanta, me río y divierto un montón además de maravillarme con las miniaturas de Birgit. Bueno me enredo yo sola, os muestro:

What did I do to deserve it? I do not know, but it came from Birgit and her wonderful blog BiWuBaren on the Blog. Surely you know it but if you don´t, visit it and have fun with the wonderful adventures and sillyness of Fluby and Rosie, I love it, I laugh and have a lot of fun in addition to marvel at Birgit´s miniatures. Well, I got myself entangled, let me show you:

Lo que había dentro de los paquetes unas maravillas, vedlo vosotros mismos, unas tarjetas de ensueño, unos detalles navideños de los que me temo no tomé fotos, pero que ya verán ubicados  y un calendario con Fluby y Rosie!! A Fluby le encanta pasar las hojas del calendario cada mes y esta vez yo le acompañaré desde aquí. Es precioso. Gracias Birgit.

What was inside the packages was wonderful, see for yourselves.  Some beautiful cards, some Christmas details that I am afraid I did not take pictures of, but that you will see later in place and a calendar with Fluby and Rosie !! Fluby loves to turn the pages of the calendar every month and this time I will accompany him from here. It is beautiful. Thank you Birgit.

Normalmente no hago nada navideño en mini, pero los detalles que me mando Birgit me inspiraron y aprovechando que en el grupo de facebook "All things mini" se iba a celebrar un "chat night" con minis navideñas saqué unas cosillas que ya tenía y decoré un farolillo que llevaba ratos dando vueltas por ahí.

Normally I do not do anything in mini for Christmas, but Birgit´s gifts inspired me and as the facebook group "All things mini" was going to hold a "chat night" with Christmas miniature creations I took some things I already had and decorated a lantern that had been hanging around there for a while.

Os muestro, ya saben más fotos de las necesarias jaja, de cerca, de lejos, con luces, sin luces, por cierto las luces son también un regalo de Birgit:

Let me show you. More photos than necessary *lol*, close ups, from distance, with lights, without lights, btw the lights are also a gift from Birgit:

Los abalorios metálicos de copos de nieve y de arbolito, las luces navideñas y ese osito tan bonito y chico del frente son de Birgit (a los que olvidé tomarles foto antes, pero aquí los tenéis). La corona y la vela de TerEdu, el plato con copa, tarta y dulces de Axion1969 y la tira navideña de arriba y adornos al lado del arbol son de Sulay. Yo solo hice los rollos de papel de regalo del fondo.

The snowflakes, the little tree, the Christmas lights and that beautiful little bear at the front are from Birgit (which I forgot to take photos before, so here you have them). The wreath and candle from TerEdu, the plate with a cup, cake and candies from Axion 1969 and the Christmas strip above and ornaments next to the tree are from Sulay. I only made the wrapping paper rolls at the back.

Os gusta? A mi me encanta la verdad. Ya tengo algo navideño en mini 😊

Bueno, ya me iba, pero como saben me encantan los sorteos, no solo participar sino también hacerlos y así retribuir parte de la ilusión que traen. ¿Cómo no hacer un sorteo en Navidad? imperdonable! Así que os traigo un pequeño regalo que sortearé entre las personas que sean seguidoras y comenten esta entrada el proximo 6 de enero cuando se celebra el día de Reyes aquí en España y se comparten los regalos. Mi pequeña contribución para ponerle una pizca más de ilusión a esta Navidad. Y como los regalos de Navidad son sorpresas, éste también lo será, ok? (no penséis que es algo muy grande por favor!)

Well, I was leaving, but as you know I love giveaways, not only to participate in them but also to organise them as a way to be thankful for the joy they bring. How not to make a giveaway for Christmas? unforgivable! So I will have a small giveaway for the people who are followers and make a comment on this entry. The draw will take place next January 6th when the Three Kings is celebrated here in Spain and the gifts are shared. My little contribution to add a little more excitement to this Christmas. And since Christmas presents are surprises, this one will be too, ok? (Do not think it's something very big please!)

Otra de plantas y flores/ More plants and flowers

Hola a todos/ hello everybody,

Me parece a mí que lo más difícil de una casa es decidir como irán las paredes, siempre dudo mucho y me toma un tiempo encontrar lo que quiero. Más en el caso de esta casa, pues quiero poner papeles en la mayoría de las paredes cuando en mis otras casas he empapelado muy poco. Así que en esas ando, bastante estancada pues no encuentro el diseño que quiero o si lo encuentro la imagen no es la adecuada al imprimir para la escala 1:12. Estoy ahora intentando manipular con el ordenador las imágenes que me gustan a ver si puedo finalmente imprimirlas para la escala.
The most difficult thing for me when I am making a house is to decide how the walls will be. I  always have doubts and it takes a long time to find what I want. More in the case of this house as I want to put wallpaper in most walls while in my other houses I wallpapered very little. This is where I am, a bit stuck, I can´t find the designs I want or if I find them, the images are not suitable for 1:12 scale. Now I am trying to manipulate images using the computer in order to print them for the scale.

En fin, que cuando ando en esas, siempre me levanta el ánimo hacer pequeñas cosillas. En este caso para la casa de Rebeca, A Rebeca le encantan las plantas y flores. pero, ¿recordáis las casas de las abuelas? había muchos jarrones con flores, ya fueran de plástico, de tela o reales. La estética era muy diferente a la de ahora y más simple y eso es lo que he intentado hacer con los jarrones de la casa de Rebeca, simples sin complicaciones:
Well, when I am in that situation it always cheers me up to get involve in little projects. In this case for Rebecca´s house. Rebecca loves plants and flowers. Do you remember our mothers and grandmothers houses? There were lots of flower vases with all sort of flowers made of plastic, fabric or natural flowers. The aesthetics was different than now, simpler and that´s what I tried to do with the flower vases for Rebecca´s house. simple with no complications:

Es diferente, ¿no? más bonito espero, un arreglo más moderno. Espero os guste porque será el premio de mi próximo sorteo :)

Ahora quiero mostraros un farol que he decorado. Tengo 3, tenía muchas ideas pero son pequeños y no les caben muebles en 1:12, así que en este primer farolillo solo puse plantas que me habían sobrado, un suelo hidráulico por supuesto, un poco de musgo y ya. A mí me ha gustado:
Now, I want to show you a lantern  I decorated. I have 3, and many ideas, but they are small with very little space for 1:12 furniture so in this first lantern I only put some plants I had left, a hydraulic floor of course, a bit of moss and that´s it. I like it:

Esta nueva casita vino con un pequeño invernadero y algo habrá que hacer con él, ¿no? Como he dicho, a Rebeca le encantan las plantas y el invernadero será su pequeño paraíso. Creo que nuestras madres y abuelas solían plantar usando todo tipo de macetas, ja, yo recuerdo toda clase de latas y botes como macetas. Pues Rebeca no es la excepción y he estado haciendo pequeñas flores plantadas en bricks de leche y latitas para su invernadero:
This new house came with a small conservatory and I will have to do something with it, no? As I said Rebecca loves plants and the conservatory will be her little piece of heaven. I think our mothers and grandmothers used to plant using all sort of pots, ha, I remember all sort of tins and pots as plant pots. Well, Rebecca is no exception and I have been making small flowers planted in milk bricks and tins for her conservatory:

No sé que tienen estos artilugios pero me encantan :)/ I don´t know why but I love these things :)

Los imprimibles los saqué de la red, hay montones. No soy de hacer cosas en serie, me aburro rápidamente pero en este caso hice unos cuantos ejemplares porque quiero hacer el primer "me lo quedo" de mi blog en esta entrada. ¿Os animáis? A la primera persona que diga "me lo quedo" le enviaré este pequeño lote de 3 plantitas en macetas recicladas :)
The printables are from Internet, there are lots of them. I don´t like to do a lot of one thing, I get bored quickly, but in this case I made a few because I want to do the first "I take it" of my blog. Would you try it? The first person how says "I take it" will get this small lot of 3 flowers in recycled pots :)

Así que 2x1, sorteo del jarrón con su arreglo de flores para el 9 de junio y lotecito de 3 plantas para el primer me lo quedo.
