Feria de Kensington 2023/ Kensington´s Fair 2023

 

Una vez más tuve la fortuna de visitar la feria de miniaturas de Kensington. Ya sabéis que tenemos familia de mi marido en Londres y mi hija menor vive allí, es por eso que intentamos al menos una vez al año ir de visita. También viví en Londres y me encanta, no me canso de ir.

Pues otra vez dio la casualidad de que para las fechas de nuestra visita se celebraría la feria y por supuesto no podía no ir.

También se dio la situación de que mi cumpleaños fue muy próximo a la fecha y tanto mi marido y mi hija, que me conocen, me dieron dinerito para disfrutar la feria aún más y comprar algunos caprichos.

Esta vez no tomé muchas fotos, estaba llenísima de gente como siempre y es dificl tomarlas pues las mesas siempre están rodeadas, además quería disfrutar al máximo y a veces estar tomando fotos te quita tiempo y espacio para simplemente disfrutar del momento.

Y sin más, os muestro las fotos que tomé, igual son muchas, jeje, pero muchas menos que en otras ocasiones.

Once again I was fortunate to visit the Kensington Miniature Fair. You might know that we have family in London, in addition to my husband's family, my youngest daughter lives there and that is why we try to visit at least once a year. I lived in London and I love it, I never get tired of going back.

Well, it happened again that the fair would be held on the dates of our visit and of course I couldn't not go.

Also my birthday was very close to the date and both my husband and my daughter, who know me, gave me some money to enjoy the fair even more and buy some treats.

This time I didn't take many photos, it was packed with people as always and it is difficult to take them as the tables are always full, I also wanted to enjoy it as much as possible and sometimes taking photos takes away time and space to simply enjoy the moment.

And without further ado, I'll show you the photos I took, there may be many of them, lol, but much less than on other occasions.

Ya podeis ver la maravilla de tesoros que había, también para todos los presupuestos y toda clase de proyectos, quizás se echa en falta un poco de más variedad de minis modernas, pero en general es una feria muy bonita, y que seguramente te llevará varias horas poder observar todas las mesas.

Ahora os muestro mis compras, hay un poco de todo, mis favoritos son plantas y cerámicas, siempre compro algo de esto, no me puedo resistir, pero también compré algunas cosillas para dos proyectos que tengo en mente, una escena de gatos y una casa para mi familia de ratones de escala 1:48 que compré hace algún tiempo a Aligra dolls. Os muestro.

You can  see the wonderful treasures there were, there are things for all budgets and all kinds of projects, perhaps a little more variety of modern minis is missing, but in general it is a very nice fair, and it will surely take you several hours to observe all the tables.

Now I show you my purchases, there is a little bit of everything, my favorites are plants and ceramics, I always buy something of this, I can't resist, but I also bought some things for two projects that I have in mind, a cat scene and a house for my family of 1:48 scale mice that I bought some time ago from Aligra dolls. I'll show you.

Aquí podeis ver las cosillas que compré para la escena de gatos, arenero, comedero, arena y comida, son una monada! Los cactus fueron un capricho, son preciosos.

Here you can see the little things I bought for the cat´s scene, litter box, feeder, litter and food, they are so cute! The cacti were a treat, they are beautiful.

Llevaba tiempo queriendo comprar una orquidea de esta miniaturista y finalmente tuve suerte y pude atrapar una, es preciosa!

I had been wanting to buy an orchid from this miniaturist for some time and I finally got lucky and was able to catch one, it is beautiful!

De estas no recuerdo los artesanos, pero los cojines de gato los compró mi marido para mí, detalles que enamoran dicen por ahí, jeje.

I don't remember the artisans of these, but my husband bought the cat cushions for me, details that make you fall in love, they say, lol.

Y luego en la mesa de Petite properties que se especializa en escalas más pequeñas, di rienda suelta a mis ganas de dar un hogar a mi familia de ratones aunque me faltó alguna cosa que recordé después, pero tengo tarea para rato! Espero tener suficiente paciencia para esta escala, creo que la necesitaré, pero me agrada que ocupa muy poco espacio porque sinceramente ya no tengo más lugar donde acomodar casitas 1:12.

And then at the Petite properties table that specializes in smaller scales, I gave free rein to my desire to give a home to my family of mice. I missed some things that I remembered later, but I have work to keep me busy for a while! I hope I have enough patience for this scale, I think I will need it, but I like that it takes up very little space because honestly I no longer have room to accommodate 1:12 houses.

Esta es la casita que compré terminada y que tenían en exposición como tantas otras. Espero a mí me quedé la mitad de bien.

Y es todo de la feria, pero una cosa más, como os dije, hace poco fue mi cumpleaños y mi hija me dio unos regalos que me sorprendieron gratamente por el tiempo e interés que se tomó en buscarlos. Ella es muy detallista y se preocupa en buscar algo que sea especial para ti. Pues me recibió en su casa el día de mi llegada con una bolsa llena de minis que me dijo descubrió online, ahora no sé si en Shein o Temu y que además del lindo detalle están muy bien, tuvo suerte ella, yo consigo muy poco en esas tiendas. Os muestro:

And it's all from the fair. One more thing, as I told you, recently it was my birthday and my daughter gave me some gifts that pleasantly surprised me because of the time and interest she took to look for them. She is very giving and cares about finding something that is special for you. Well, she welcomed me at her house on the day of my arrival with a bag full of minis. She told me she discovered them online, I don't know if it was Shein or Temu. In addition to the nice detail, they are very good, she was lucky, I get very little in those stores. I'll show you:

Alguna cosilla estará fuera de escala pero hay otras que están súper bien, vean esos gatitos, el rascador para gatos y los cuadros enmarcados, son encantadores. Gracias hija mía.
