Avance #123556789

Hello!!

Luisa (Maluga), Mandi, Eloísa, Caro, Sharon, Mariángeles (Minicloe), Lourdes (Siberia), May (Anisofla), Sulay, ayyy espero no olvidarme de nadie, madre mía, mil gracias!!!

Another entry about my kitchen, I've lost count of what number it is. And with a lot of pictures you will see. I go crazy taking pictures of small details and corners.

First of all I want to thank your kind comments, without them this blog would make little sense, they also give me great joy and motivate me to continue.

Second, this kitchen would not be what it is and what it is becoming without so many minis from gifts, swaps (and some small purchases) of friends from this world. At first I wanted to make many things myself, but it hasn´t been necessary and I am 100% sure that it is better this way, there are so many treasures in this kitchen that I could not have equaled them.

I have already mentioned in previous publications, the minis I have been receiving for this kitchen, but I repeat, I want you to know that I am very grateful. Thanks Carmen (pekevasion) surely 80% of this kitchen is yours, Drora, Tere (Santiaga), Rosa (paperina), Paloma (Axion1969), Myriam (Myriam67), Angela (Solaire), Ma. Luisa (Maluga), Mandi , Eloísa, Caro, Sharon, Mariángeles (Minicloe), Lourdes (Siberia), Sulay. I hope I haven´t forgotten anyone, oh my, thank you very much !!!

In the next post I will give you the name of the stores of my purchases, I have to look for them well.

Well, I continue where I left it:

Más muebles y rincones que he ido llenando/ More furniture and corners that I have been filling.

Algún pequeño accesorio he hecho.

I have made some small accessories. The one below I made following a tutorial by Eloísa. It almost ends the friendship with Carolina lol, she couldn´t guess what it was. I will say in my favor that it is still unfinished.

Sigo/ let´s continue:

See the spice rack? I enjoyed a lot making it even though I didn´t have glass beads, only green ones, but in the end they look like spices to me.

Las frutas de mi marido/ Fruit by my husband.

Here how the chairs were customised, the cushions by Maluga and the basket above was made by Tere.

A small ornament matching the lamp. The cups are transparent and painted on the inside with nail polish.

More fruit made by David, the truth is I'm lucky, the watermelon is great as well as the bananas, I love them!

And now I want to show you Mildred. She is Rita's friend and she has come to visit and hang out. I had this cheap porcelain doll that I bought and then didn´t like it. But since Rita needed company in this kitchen and I had promised not to spend more money, I decided to customise the doll and see what would come out. I changed her clothes for better ones from another doll, I painted the shoes, painted her lips and eyebrows, I fixed her hairstyle and now Mildred looks like she has just been to the ladies hairdresser, lol. I also put on her some accessories made by myself and a pair of glasses by Lourdes.

Well, what do you think of Mildred?

No está muy elegante? Doesn´t she look very elegant?

He de volver a hacerle la manicura, ésta quedó desastrosa/ I have to do her manicure again, this one is horrendous 😮.

And now this is what I´m doing ... putting some hair to some kittens I bought some time ago and had not used because they seemed too plastic. This is the result so far.

With this one I am half way through, let´s see how it turns out.

And that´s all, I hope I can show you the finished kitchen on the next post.

Un abrazo/ Big hugs.

Alex.

  3. This is a kitchen where no one will go hungry. The pantry is well stocked and looks stunning. Wonderful furniture pieces filled with lovely items. Rita's friend, Mildred is a very fine lady, well dressed for the occasion. What can be better than a cup of tea and some delicious treat for both ladies? I love this kitchen.

  4. Felicidades.
Lourdes

I love the cat posters on the wall... and the spice jars look very real too! The ivy in its pot is just lovely! There are so many wonderful touches! But the fruits made by your husband are just perfect!!! So wonderful that you have his help too! The kittens are starting to look very real also. I am very impressed! But I have to say I think Mildred is the best.... she reminds me very much of my Late Grandmother whose name was Mildred!!! The clothes and the hair are perfect.... but I agree about the manicure! LOL! This is the sort of kitchen where it is always warm and cheerful and the company is the best! :):)

  11. This kitchen just says Love and Home everywhere you look! It was so fun looking through the photos and picking out the things from all your friends. I can't think of a thing you missed - I even saw a fly swatter! David's fruit is wonderful, and you are so lucky that he "plays" with you! The doll makeover is marvelous! She looks wise and friendly and very proper! It so much more satisfying when we can make or improve upon the things we already have! Such a creative and heartwarming scene, Alex! Great work!

  12. I'm already looking forward to part #123556790 of your kitchen progress and for more lovely photos! ;O) It's always a big pleasure to discover the lovely details you've added and without doubt you're lucky to have such a talented husband who supplies you with the most delicious fruits. Mildred turned out wonderful, what an elegant lady (despite of her nails… you are right, this needs a makeover, too much for such a lady). I'm wishing the two ladies much fun drinking tea, enjoying delicious treats, chatting the afternoon away and exchanging gossip. ;O)

    Hugs
